Licensing the Smooth Streaming Module
Non commercial license
Non profit sites that have no ads do not require a commercial license. Of course a donation is always appreciated. You have to agree to the noncommercial license. If you allow the content to be shown on other domains than your own or you offer Content Delivery Network (CDN), Hosting or Streaming services, you need to apply for a commercial license.
Why buy a license?
If you buy a commercial license, you can use the Smooth Streaming Module (the webserver plugin and the mp4split program) on
- A corporate site
- A site that has ads
- A CMS (Content Management System)
